Measuring educational impact needs to take in a number of factors.  How access to education has changed the individual’s life, how that has then impacted on the surrounding family and community and what the individual has managed to do with the opportunities given to them.

Windle scholarships have enabled a number of individuals to lift themselves out of poverty and to start to bring positive changes to their communities.  Windle scholarships have focused on health and education.

The infrastructure and capacity building across the region is maintained through access to educational training from primary to post-graduate.

Windle’s impact can be seen through the work of its alumni and through the level of leadership positions, from head teachers to regional doctors, senior finance and political positions.  Windle is currently looking at a professional impact study to evaluate its regional impact.
